张嘎仅有一个的亲人——奶奶，他爱奶奶，因为奶奶对他无微不至，他崇敬奶奶，因为奶奶竭尽全力维护着八路军，生活虽然艰苦，却充满着幸福。可是，奶奶为了掩护隐藏在他们家里养伤的八路军侦察连长老钟，惨死在敌人的刺刀下!幸福的家被敌人摧毁了，嘎子最敬爱的老钟叔也被敌人抓走……同学们，你们想想这一切，对于一个孩子来说，是多么悲惨的啊!

突然之间，他变成一个家破人亡的孤儿了!可是，张嘎是个勇敢刚强的孩子，失去亲人的悲痛没有使他消沉，敌人锋利的刺刀更不能使他屈服;相反，在他幼小的心里燃起了炽烈的复仇之火，必须要为奶奶报仇，要救出老钟叔!并且他要实现自己向往已久的梦想——像老钟叔那样，当一个勇敢而又机智的侦察员，狠狠地打击敌人。

在中秋前夕，我们部队的大批药品要在指定时间走过白洋淀。有个日本鬼子叫龟田，他企图在最短的时间内，经过_细石磊将区队八路的药品一网打尽，鬼子的计谋被嘎子无意中发现，以嘎子为首的孩子们，粉碎了敌人的阴谋，配合区队八路使药品顺利过境，并一举歼灭这伙小日本鬼子。在战斗中，嘎子还真缴获了一把真枪。

张嘎是个可爱的孩子，他勇敢刚强，在敌人面前无所畏惧，表现出威武不屈的精神。当老满父子为掩护他而遭受伪军的毒打时，他敢于大义凛然地挺身而出，并且沉着有力地告诉敌人：“我就是你们要找的八路军，跟他们没有关系!”当他被敌人关在炮楼里进行拷问时，他敢于勇猛地咬着敌人执着皮鞭的魔手……

同学们，嘎子的爱国热情、幽默、滑稽、可爱、坚强不屈，不达到目的绝不罢休的精神感动了我。

从嘎子身上，反映出了他敢于斗争勇于胜利的大无畏的革命精神，我们也同样能够把他的精神运用于此刻的生活和学习中，面对困难勇于克服，不怕挑战，不怕挫折。

同学们，在战争年代，小小年纪的嘎子就不怕牺牲，打鬼子。而我们此刻处在和平年代，更应当好好珍惜今日来之不易的幸福生活，加倍努力学习，学好本领，建设祖国。

同学们，我们是二十一世纪的主人，未来的中国属于我们，我们要发奋学习，像嘎子那样毫无保留地把一切贡献给我们的祖国。

ladies and gentlemen

i'm only going to talk to you just for a minute or so this evening because i have some -- some very sad news for all of you -- could you lower those signs please? -- i have some very sad news for all of you and i think sad news for all of our fellow citizens and people who love peace all over the world; and that is that martin luther king was shot and was killed tonight in memphis tennessee.

martin luther king dedicated his life to love and to justice between fellow human beings. he died in the cause of that effort. in this difficult day in this difficult time for the united states it's perhaps well to ask what kind of a nation we are and what direction we want to move in. for those of you who are black -- considering the evidence evidently is that there were white people who were responsible -- you can be filled with bitterness and with hatred and a desire for revenge.

we can move in that direction as a country in greater polarization -- black people amongst blacks and white amongst whites filled with hatred toward one another. or we can make an effort as martin luther king did to understand and to comprehend and replace that violence that stain of bloodshed that has spread across our land with an effort to understand compassion and love.

for those of you who are black and are tempted to fill with -- be filled with hatred and mistrust of the injustice of such an act against all white people i would only say that i can also feel in my own heart the same kind of feeling. i had a member of my family killed but he was killed by a white man.

but we have to make an effort in the united states. we have to make an effort to understand to get beyond or go beyond these rather difficult times.

my favorite poem my -- my favorite poet was aeschylus. and he once wrote:

even in our sleep pain which cannot forget

falls drop by drop upon the heart

until in our own despair

against our will

comes wisdom

through the awful grace of god.

what we need in the united states is not division; what we need in the united states is not hatred; what we need in the united states is not violence and lawlessness but is love and wisdom and compassion toward one another and a feeling of justice toward those who still suffer within our country whether they be white or whether they be black.

so i ask you tonight to return home to say a prayer for the family of martin luther king -- yeah it's true -- but more importantly to say a prayer for our own country which all of us love -- a prayer for understanding and that compassion of which i spoke.

we can do well in this country. we will have difficult times. we've had difficult times in the past but we -- and we will have difficult times in the future. it is not the end of violence; it is not the end of lawlessness; and it's not the end of disorder.

but the vast majority of white people and the vast majority of black people in this country want to live together want to improve the quality of our life and want justice for all human beings that abide in our land.

and let's dedicate ourselves to what the greeks wrote so many years ago: to tame the savageness of man and make gentle the life of this world. let us dedicate ourselves to that and say a prayer for our country and for our people.

“牛儿还在山上吃草，放牛的却不知哪儿去了……”听着这首优美而熟悉的歌曲，你一定会想起抗日小英雄王二小的动人故事吧，但你明白他是哪里人吗?让我揭开这个谜吧!

王二小，河北省平山县宅北乡南滚龙沟村人，在家排行老二，村里人都叫他王二校，1941年9月16日，二小在一个大山坡上放牛，日军300余人向南滚龙沟袭来，当日军凶狠地用刀逼着二小为他们带路抓八路时，二小十分清楚《晋察冀日报》报社的工作人员和战士就在四面的山上隐藏着。他牵着牛机智地领着鬼子在三道壕慢慢地转，从上午9点多转到了下午3点多。在二道泉山顶，他猛地抱住一个鬼子厮打，想与鬼子跳崖同归于尽，不料被另一个鬼子用刺刀从背后刺穿了胸膛。这时埋伏在山顶的报社武装队发起了攻击，一举歼灭了这股敌人。

记者方冰对此事进行了采访，并结合他平时采访的其他故事，与作曲家劫夫合作了歌曲《歌唱二小放牛郎》，发表在1942年的《晋察冀日报》元旦副刊《老百姓》上。之后，王二小的故事被编进了小学课本，二小成了千千万万儿童心目中的英雄。

这天，我们唱起《歌唱二小放牛郎》，重温那段历史故事，在缅怀抗日小英雄的同时，必须要不忘国耻，发奋图强，学好本领，将来报效祖国，振兴中华，不让历史重演。

大家晚上好!

今天，我为大家带来抗日英雄杨靖宇的故事。

杨靖宇，中国无产阶级革命家，抗日民族英雄。杨靖宇早年接受革命影响，在开封读书期间，爆发了“五四”爱国运动，他曾组织反帝爱国罢课游行。1927年加入中国共产党。_失败后，在家乡领导游击战争，不久，在河南、上海、东北等地，做党的地下工作，曾五次被敌人拘捕，受尽折磨，都坚贞不屈。“九一八”事变后，经党营救出狱，他不顾病痛缠身，立即投入抗日救国斗争。他先后任中共哈尔滨市委书记、代理满洲省委军委书记、南满游击队政委、东北抗日联军第一军军长兼政委、第一路军总指挥。率领抗日联军战士，在东起长白山，西抵辽河平原，南达黄海岸的广大地区，展开抗日游击战，到处袭击日军的据点、破坏敌人交通设施，仅1937年至1938年间，就连续战斗数十次，攻克大小城镇10余处，歼灭日伪军2。5万余人。1938年10月以后，抗日战争进入相持阶段。日寇视杨靖宇为心腹之患，调集大量兵力，对抗日联军进行严密封锁，疯狂围攻。杨靖宇率部转移到原始森林中，在零下40度的冰天雪地里，以草根充饥，用泥巴裹伤，顽强战斗，毫不气馁。仅1939年一个冬季，就歼敌数千人，冲破敌人11个军管区的兵力包围。日寇闻风丧胆，悬赏10万大洋捉拿杨靖宇，并调集30万重兵“讨伐抗联”。杨靖宇将部队化整为零，开展“麻雀”战。1940年初，他率部转战至蒙江县，由于叛徒出卖，被敌人重重围困。在四、五架飞机配合下，日伪军实行“梳篦”战术，八面包抄。杨靖宇将分队疏散后，只带两名警卫员在林海雪原中与敌周旋了三天三夜。最后两名警卫员先后牺牲，他孤身一人被封锁在蒙江县保安村外的树林中。2月23日下午，杨靖宇与敌遭遇，他一个人同几百日伪军激战1个多小时，最后身中数弹，其中一颗打中胸部，才终于倒下，壮烈殉国。时年35岁。他牺牲后，敌人残酷地割下他的头颅，剖开他的腹部，在他的胃肠里没看到一粒粮食，只有草根、树皮和棉絮。敌人为之骇然，不得不承认他是一个“顽强”的人。抗战胜利后，党组织费了很多周折，找到了他的遗首和遗体，长白山区各族人民为缅怀这位民族英雄，在通化市郊修建了杨靖宇陵墓。

杨靖宇将军牺牲了，但他没有倒下，他和许多革命志士一样矗立成我们心中永久的丰碑。我们在一个相对和平的环境下长大，那样惨痛的记忆或许我们感受并不深刻，或许我们仅仅从教科书上知道有这么一件事，或许对于历史的了解不及对于一个偶像明星的了解。但是，要知道忘记历史，就等于背叛!

回顾历史，我们有太多的痛苦和屈辱，任人宰割的命运让国人长时间难以昂首挺胸走路，是我们的党带领中国人民走上了改革开放的强国之路，一步步跨越，不断创造出新的辉煌，不断推出新的希望。

有了中国共产党，祖国才有今天的繁荣富强。宏图已绘就，号角已吹响;壮志在心头，扬鞭在脚下。让我们团结在党的'周围，共同努力，使我们的国家越来越繁荣、强大!我的演讲完毕，谢谢大家!

i"ll tell you an experience of myself happened last week. last thursday our school was tackling something about woking fou study. i wanted to have a try even though i knew the salary was so low and i had little chance,because the students who had the certificate were always thought to have priority to get the job. fortunately i was called at noon and a teacher said to me that she wanted me to work for her and asked if i could change my mind.

at that moment i was so excited that immediately i accepted her idea. but later on,she found me that i"m not a student,so i had little chance and suggest me to get one. then an idea occurred to me that i could call my father and ask him to send me the letter. at the same time i was told that i was admitted to the job and don"t need the certificate. that time i forgot to remind my father,until the next day he called me that he had posted it and it would arrive in just one day.

at that moment i was moved, and even moved into tears, because i knew my father was injured not long before,the process of helping me with the affairs was not so convenient for him. but he tried his best to help me. sometimes we may complain about unsatisfying things around us,and blame them on our parents,sometimes they"ll be angry with us, and sometimes we can"t quite understand what they are thinking about. but on balance, almost every parent is selfless to his or her child.

they are ready to offer everything to us when we are in bad situation. we used to sharing sorrow with them,but do not forget to share our happiness with them, perhaps they will be much happier than we are. so from now on, let"s care more about our parents and do not leave pity to them. that"s what i want to tell you today. thank you!
